One of my favorite tools for praying on the yoga mat is Pray As You Go. It’s a daily devotional podcast published by the Jesuits. Each episode is about 12 minutes long: first time to center and breathe, then the same scripture read twice, along with reflective questions.

Often this podcast is my first activity of the day. I listen on my mat, simply moving through some gentle yoga poses, slowly waking my body, mind, and soul together. For the second scripture reading, I often settle into a restorative yoga pose for reflection and prayer. Try it! You can listen straight from your computer or download to your Mp3 player.
